    The committee institute no evidence of wrongdoing by either company, but it accused Huawei in particular of failing to cooperate with its investigation. "Neither company provided specific details about the precise role of each company's Chinese Communist Party Committee," the report stated. "Furthermore, neither company provided particular information about its operations in the United States. Huawei, in particular, failed to provide thorough information about its corporate structure, history, ownership, operations, pecuniary arrangements or management. Most importantly, neither company provided enough internal documentation or other evidence to back the limited answers they did provide to committee investigators."
