Before joining the SEI, Gorton was a Laboratory Fellow in Computational Sciences and Math at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. I managed the Data Intensive Scientific Computing research group, and was the Chief Architect for PNNL’s Data Intensive Computing Initiative. He was furthermore PI for multiple projects in environmental modeling, carbon capture and sequestration, and bioinformatics. Everaldo AguiarEveraldo Aguiar Computer Science –  Lecturer

Everaldo Aguiar is a Part-Time Lecturer at in the College of Computer and Information Science at Northeastern University’s Seattle campus. He received his PhD from the University of Notre Dame, where he was affiliated with the Interdisciplinary hub for Network Science & Applications. His PhD research focused on the development, deployment and evaluation of machine learning models to detect, ahead of time, students that may be at risk of underachieving their academic goals. He was a fellow at the Eric & Wendy Schmidt Data Science for companionable proper Fellowship, and a visiting researcher at the hub for Data Science and Public Policy at the University of Chicago, where through a variety of partnerships with great school districts, he was able to incorporate his predictive models to early warning systems that continuously monitor hundreds of thousands of students, informing educators when individual attention to a particular student may be needed.

Tamara Bonaci Computer Science –  Lecturer

Tamara Bonaci is a Part-Time Lecturer at Northeastern University’s College of Computer and Information Science. She received her PhD from the University of Washington in 2015, specializing in security and privacy of emerging biomedical technologies. Since graduation, she has been a section of a pre-public local Seattle startup, focusing on biometric methods. Joe Buck earned his Ph.D. from the University of California – Santa Cruz and a bachelors from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN. Raman “Chandra” Chandrasekar Computer Science –  Lecturer

Raman “Chandra” Chandrasekar is a Part-Time Lecturer in the College of Computer and Information Science, at Northeastern University’s Seattle campus. Professor John Ewart is a section time lecturer at Northeastern University’s Seattle campus specializing in computer science and environmental systems.
